My Project

As an Occupational Therapist working with students with disabilities, I strive to empower my students to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential. Many of my students, who face difficulties such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and dysgraphia, struggle with the physical and cognitive demands of writing. By providing laptops, we can transform their learning experiences and help them develop crucial skills in our therapy room. These laptops will serve as a gateway to improving their handwriting, organization, spelling, and written expression, allowing them to thrive academically and beyond.

Laptops will make the physical act of writing more accessible and help students focus on developing their ideas and thoughts without being hindered by handwriting difficulties.

I am requesting laptops for my students to use during therapy sessions. These devices will be invaluable tools, allowing students to practice keyboarding skills, learn to utilize assistive features like autocorrect, word prediction, and spell check, and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves through writing.
