Kettlebells & Slam Balls for Enhanced Sport Performance
My students need these kettlebells and slam balls to help improve their training regimen while giving them the proper equipment to succeed in their athletic pursuits.

My Students
My students are from a very rural community and the school can be considered a "frontier school." Most of them have lived here their whole life and many believe that because our school is so small, we have very little funding and many of the students accept that they will never have the best equipment. Currently, they have very little conditioning equipment. The little equipment they do have is usually run-down because it's 30+ years old. They love being active in sports and outdoor activities and many are hard-working farm kids. I know with the right equipment, we can improve their training and help them have a better chance at being successful. I want them to realize that they are worth so much more and that there are people who want them to succeed and to achieve great things.
My Project
The donations for this project will help improve the training capabilities of all of our teams including girl's volleyball, cross country, basketball, and track. Currently, our sport programs have very little training equipment and because of this, they are not able to train as other schools and are continually falling behind. Because we have such small numbers, we need to find a way to compete.
If we can get these kettlebells and slam balls, it will be the first step to bridging the gap between our performance and that of the larger schools we must compete with.
These kettlebells and slam balls will allow us to make better use of our already small training facility, improve the power output of our athletes, and combine cardio training into our strength program.
