My students need new Popular music for the school's marching band. We are a one-of-a-kind marching band for Boston! We are getting ready for new shows with new music! We need your help!

My Students

Our students are Artsy! When they come to music class all they want to do is perform! Performing is great but learning the music theory behind it is so important. That’s why I am putting this Donors Choose Project together to fund resources for our marching band.

You see… we have a marching band at school.

As a matter of fact, we are the only school in our district that performs the many parades in Boston. We march in First Night Boston, St. Patrick's Day Parade, Memorial Day Parade, and Haitian Flag Day Parade.

Our students are the type who seek pride and joy in learning when given high quality resource opportunities. They deserve the best quality instruments that will further support their achievements!

My Project

We need new music materials for our marching band!

I have ordered level 2-3 marching band music for our students that will help them progress in music reading, performing, and presenting with and without musical instruments.

The band needs to progress in formulating whole groups shows for the community, their peers, families and friends. We can do it! Especially if we have professional grade quality resources such as music arrangements for our students to rehearse and analyze in class and at home.

Music instruction is also about music reading, the popular music ordered will engage students and families for school and at marching events in building connections and support for our school!
