Keeping Up With Virtual Learners

My Students

My school is located in an urban-suburban community in a large city in Georgia. I teach at an elementary school. We are a Title I school. I have the pleasure of teaching PreK-2nd grade students.

While my students continue to stay home away from the school setting, it is critical that they continue to learn.

We have students and teachers who don't have all the supplies needed to ensure that the learning goals are flourishing. We have students who are eager to learn and teachers who are dedicated to teaching. We're just in need of help with some of the supplies.

My desire is to make every learning experience fun and equitable for everyone by providing some of the tools that we need to succeed.

My Project

These resources will help my students be successful while they’re away from the classroom. The arts and crafts materials: dot markers, colored pencils, scissors, and construction paper will help the students complete their assignments and end of year project. The snacks: chips, juice, gatorade, fruit snacks, and cookies will give them motivation and the energy to get their work done. The paper towel will be provided in their snack bag. The books will help students who don't have any books at home. The scissors, tape, highlighters, and sticky notes will help me keep organized when putting the learning packets and snack bags together.

My students are working on a Covid-19 time capsule and they need supplies such as colored pencils and materials to continue their studies and help them complete the end of year project.
