My students are creative and enthusiastic about learning. They love to learn and participate in hands-on learning activities. Using their hands nurtures their curiosity and fuels their well being.
The students I work with each have there own unique personalities and learning style.
They work hard and are always eager to learn.
This program gives children from diverse backgrounds, and low income homes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the Detroit Public School Community District. My energetic students enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore.
My Project
The items I am asking your help to obtain is because my scholars needs to have a place to store their materials. Due to Covid students now need their own set of materials and a place to keep them in the classroom, while still maintaining a clean and safe environment (in school and at home).
A easy place to find and store resources, will allow students to attain their materials readily.
Ease of access to resources will also reduce students anxiety and stress levels and give them pride in how well organized they are. The bins I am using now are to small and do not have lids and the students constantly knock them over. Oh boy! With your help this will be a thing of the past. Unifix cubes and other items will be place in the Ziplock storage bags, then placed in each scholars storage container. That will be stored under their table when not in use.
