This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 6th grade students are crazy for books this year! Every morning, my homeroom students consistently return and pick up new titles while other students across the school drop by to pick up their next read. One thing that they can't get enough of are books in a series! I have so many students who are total completionists - they love reading every book in a series in order before moving on to the next title.

In this project, I am requesting the newest books in several of our most popular series!

I am also requesting a couple replacement copies of series that have been lost in backpacks and bedrooms due to their extreme popularity. I'm hoping that these titles will help my students maintain their reading momentum for the second half of the school year and beyond!
