My Project
My Project
This year I would like to teach my students the importance of giving to others.
Nothing makes a person's day more than receiving a small gift that they did not expect.
Through the Kindness Counts initiative, my students will have a chance to do this.
I plan to decorate a small rolling cart and each week pick a team to receive a small gift. In the beginning, the plan is just to have snacks to share. The vinyl will be used to decorate the cart and the "kindness crew" shirts that students will wear while operating the cart. I think this is a great way to build morale in the school. This will also allow my students with social skills and social communication goals to practice their social interactions in a natural way. These items will keep the cart stocked for the remainder of the year!
