My Project
Since the COVID epidemic, the New York City public schools have been exposed as being far behind the curve when it comes to technology. We do not have nearly enough computers for our students compared to many suburban schools who are issued one as soon as they walk into the building. Students will use these computers in our social studies classes every day to complete assignments on Google Classroom, perform research, and write and edit written assignments. The few laptops in our school are old, broken and/or outdated. I just want to give these unbelievably awesome kids a chance to compete with the rest of the world. These laptops would be a blessing and a step in the right direction.
