Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have two math classes with almost 25 students in each class. The majority of the students are Latino with many just arriving to the country this year! We are a title one school but that doesn’t stop them!
With the use of the whiteboards and markers my students will be able to answer questions and show me their answers all at once.
I can see which students need help and who can be a buddy partner. This will also help students that don’t want to be called on in front of the class.
I saw the positive results in another class and look forward to utilizing this method with my students. I know the students will enjoy using the markers and boards.
