Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Daily, my students learn how to regulate their emotions and not let their behave interfere with the learning environment. So we have a reward system. We also hand a classroom store. Student are able to purchase items from the store with the notes.
Help me motivate my students when earning incentives like Magnetic Ring Fidget set, snacks (chips, crackers) Dum Dums suckers, stickers, Pokémon Cards and fruit snacks!
Throughout the school day students are earning points for positive and appropriate classroom behavior. Students are also participating in a token economy to motivate students to be invested in learning. If students earn enough points, they also earn "Nevitt Notes" towards purchasing from the classroom store. My students helped me choose items. Students became even more invested in having appropriate classroom behavior.
Our class focuses on increasing our academic skills along with learning how to manage and express our emotions appropriately. With your support the students in my class will have the necessary tools to be a Just Knight Student and increase their ability to manage their behavior and emotions. Thank you!
