My students need paper towels, Clorox wipes and tissues to keep up with cleaning noses and tables this flu season.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Smirk's classroom raised $236

My Students
Our school is in the heart of Brooklyn, NY.
It includes students from Pre-K to eighth grade, and it is a melting pot of descendants from the West Indies.
The school is in a high poverty area, and about 95% of the students in the school receive free lunch. There are 18 energetic, three and four-year-old children in my class but there are not a lot of funds to enrich these students' education because of the budget cuts and although our families give us support they can't always help out financially.
My Project
Constant runny noses, sneezing and coughing can be the norm in a Pre-kindergarten class but this flu season has been particularly bad. Most of my students parents provided the class with paper towels, tissues and Clorox wipes at the beginning of the year, but those supplies are gone.
The students need to have a clean classroom to continue to learn and grow in.
When the room isn’t kept clean the germs get shared easily. I will use the wipes and paper towels to clean the tables and materials the students use. The tissues will used to blow the 18 little noses.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
