it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a special education teacher teaching life skills to students from the ages 14-22. I strive to teach them independence that requires reading and organization skills. The students I teach lack such skills and need supports and equipment to help memorization of life skills and organizational skills.
The students I teach have severe to moderate intellectual disability, autism, and health impairments.
The students require specialized instruction to help with independence after high school.
The students require life skills training which include reading, writing, staying organized, and becoming independent to achieve getting hired for a job and keeping the job.
