This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The start of the school year is just so HOT. Our school is older and although it has air conditioning it is still not enough to keep our classroomat a comfortable temperature. My classroom is on the second floor, and temperatures can easily soar into the 90s in the afternoon.
Fans in my classroom will help cool my young students down, which will help them to focus on their learning.
This past year we had to work on our school hallways to have a cooler space to work in. It was not the most efficient nor comfortable environment for my young four and five year old students. These fans are quiet enough to allow my students to listen to our lessons, collaborate with each other, and build our classroom community. Keeping my students cool will help them to focus and continue to learn. This project will have a significant impact on the learning environment of my students.
