This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a high poverty area, and many times do not have access to important school supplies at home. Our school district is going through a series of budget cuts. It's very difficult for me to provide them with the supplies we need in the classroom to complete the day-to-day assignments.
Our school is a Title I school, and the majority of students qualifies for a free lunch.
My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures such as nuclear, single parent, foster and migrant to name a few. However, my students are eager to learn.
My Project
We need your help to make our education experience the best it can be. By donating to our project, you will be providing my students with spiral notebooks to complete their assignments with greater ease.
My students get homework assignments and sometimes they aren't able to complete them because they don't have paper at home. Help me provide my students with the notebooks they need to complete their assignments at home and in the classroom.
Having these basic supplies is crucial to learning.
Our project is important because my students need these need these spiral notebooks to complete the day-to-day activities in the classroom and at home. These notebooks will help them keep their work organize and in a safe place.
