This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As our Capstone Engineering project, our students have built two electric cars to compete in the CT Elethrathon. The Electrathon is a student-focused computation in which students design, construct, and then compete with an electric power car. For the last two months, our class and the afterschool engineering club have been building their car.
The race is a 12-hour school day for us, and with just a school-provided bag lunch, I wanted to supplement their meal and keep them focused for our extra-long day. We are asking for healthy snacks for the thirty kids we are bringing on this field trip.
