Help me give my students the ability to wash and dry our glassware so it sparkles and shines!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Yeoman's classroom raised $300

My Students
My students are the 7th and 8th grade middle school kids in a K-8 school in Queens. A diverse group of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds, they include all academic levels, students with disabilities, and ICT classes.
They are all very excited to be learning science in a lab room for the first time.
As an educator, I want their experience to be fun and exciting so they don't lose interest in science as many middle school children do. However, I also need to prepare them for high school and they need to experience all aspects of lab work, including clean up.
My Project
We need draining racks. When we complete experiments, all the glass equipment we use gets sticky and covered in materials that need to be taken care of before the next class comes in.
Science is often messy and keeping our classroom clean is a top priority.
Available space in the room for placing wet glassware is limited. These racks will enable us to not only keep our room clean but also safe. Nobody wants to bump into glass that has been left drying on a table. These racks can also be hung on the wall by our sink so they are out of the way.
