My Project
My students love to create unique works of art that are personal to them. They especially love when we do drawing units that include many lessons and resources in which they can pick the media they use. Many of my students have not been able to use oil pastels or chalk pastels due to not having enough available in the art room. This supply of drawing materials would not only help them have different materials to explore and choose from but also keep the current materials sharp as in having a pencil sharpeners that are reliable. We need to keep their materials sharp so they can create many more unique works! Many of my students enjoy being the pencil helper at the end of the day in which they come to the art room and help me sharpen pencils and get the art room ready for the following day. This has been difficult recently due to losing the only electric pencil sharpener in my classroom. This donation would greatly be appreciated by my students because this awesome group of kiddos loves to use colored pencils and to draw with graphite! Your help with helping us reach this goal will help us continue to keep our materials sharp and our creative minds sharp as well!
