My students are excited to learn every day. They have one year under their belt, so now they can jump right into learning. They come from all around the world and have a variety of life styles and learning needs. With a high poverty level, many of my students face multiple challenges both in and out of the classroom. In our classroom environment, a safe, comfortable place to learn is key!
They are constantly striving to do their best and learn as much as possible.
This is a full class of twenty-five students this year, so it is going to be a fun-filled exciting year of learning.
My Project
This vacuum will help my kids help take care of our room and make sure that it stays clean. The custodians do a great job on our classroom carpet but they are not required to vacuum the carpets that we purchase for the kids to sit on!
Kids love to feel like they are helping out and having a job that can help keep our classroom clean.
This vacuum will do exactly that. After snack, after recess our carpets seem to get messy, the kids will learn how to help keep our classroom neat and clean! Kids will feel better in a clean classroom. Who wants to sit on a dirty carpet to read and listen to lessons?
Nearly all students from low‑income households
