My Students
Mother Teresa stated, "If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one." Helping mold young minds is one of the main reasons I am a teacher. I have some very well behaved, talented art students filled with integrity, who might not have a good home life such as enough food or even the proper school materials. No matter what my students are going through, they are always ready to learn so they can reach their goals. My students amaze me each day and they teach me as much as I teach them.
My Project
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt our education, but we are determined to move forward and continue to make academic growth through these difficult times. My students have been virtual since we left school in March and we are returning back to school for face-to-face learning with a lot of new changes. My students will have to wear a mask and social distance in my class, but at least we will be all together again. With these new changes, my students will not be able to share art supplies and materials like normal, so I am requesting individual project storage boxes to allow each student a place to keep their materials. With all the obstacles that we will have to overcome for the remainder of this school year, I don't want my art students to not have the materials they need to be successful. A lot of my students come from low income, homelessness, and military families and will not have the ability to provide their own project box. With your support, I will be able to make sure that all my students have one. Thank you for considering to help my students reach their goals and dreams by supporting them.
