My students need bags to keep their blanket bags clean and cleaning supplies, such as Disinfecting Wipes and Lysol Disinfectant Spray, to help keep our classroom clean.

My Students
The school custodian cleans our classroom by sweeping the floor, vacuuming the rug and taking out the garbage. All other cleaning is up to me and I have to supply the resources to do it.
There are 18 energetic three and four year old children in my class.
Our school includes students from Pre-k to eighth grade. It is in a high poverty area and about 85% of the students in the school receive free lunch. Our school is in a low-income neighborhood where the budget cuts have made purchasing the things we need difficult.
My Project
I like to make sure my classroom is a clean and safe environment for all of my students. One of the things I have to clean everyday is the classroom tables. They need wiped down at least three times a day so I am requesting Lysol Wipes. These wipes will ensure the tables are clean and germ free after breakfast, lunch and choice time.
Another important area I spend a lot of time cleaning is the students cots. Three and four year olds have unexpected accidents when they are sleeping. The Lysol spray will be used to spray down the cots after these accidents to keep the cots clean.
The last thing my students need is a canvas bag to store their blankets in. Each student has a small cubby to keep all of their things in. Without a bag many of the students blankets end up on the floor. These bags have handles that can hang on the hooks in their cubbies keeping the blankets off of the dirty floor.
Teaching and attending Pre-Kindergarten involves adults and children coming in contact with a lot of germs.
The supplies I am requesting will help me keep the germs at bay. This will help keep my students happy and healthy.
