This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a large amount of students and they all contain so many special skills and talents. Even those who think they are not a “good drawer” always put their best effort forward because they simply love being hands on and making art. They are not afraid to express themselves and dive into new art journeys without hesitation.
My Project
This material will allow me to have my materials clean and ready class after class. For example, I have done a watercolor project with all of my classes but had to take breaks to allow for cleaning and drying time. This will get rid of that inconvenience and make it so that classes can use the same materials in the same day and continue working on their projects consistently.
I am very excited to be able to use my art room again after being on a cart since the beginning of the year.
However, I am worried about the transition time. I have three minutes in between my classes to disinfect and sanitize the tables, chairs, and materials. With this technology I can set it and forget it with the materials and just focus on cleaning the tables and chairs.
