Keeping Everyone Safe & Germ Free

Help me give my students Kleenex, foam hand soap, first aid kit and bandaids. We will carry a crossbody bag that will carry the hand sanitizer, first aid kit, bandaids, replacement face masks and a CPR mask kit.

My Students

Currently, my sixth, seventh and eighth grade students are enjoying their summer break. As a conscientious Physical Education Teacher of inner city youth I am trying to prepare for all possible teaching and learning scenarios in the fall. We have a very diverse student population. Our school also has a wide range of academic levels. We offer 15 after school sports for our students to participate in.

I am trying to keep my students safe while getting my students physically active under a new set of norms that we will all be adjusting to.

I strive to empower all my students to grow and be the best that they can be. All of my students are eligible to receive both the school breakfast and lunch daily for free. Most of our school population takes public transportation.

My Project

The items I am requesting will help keep my students safe. Returning to face to face instruction will require proper safety measures as well as teaching and learning new social norms. The items I am requesting will help our Physical Education Department implement safety measures and offer items to our students to help keep them safe and healthy.

Our Physical Education staff intends to get our students outside as much as possible and it is important that we have replacement masks, a first aid kit and a extra supply of bandaids to offer when needed as well as a CPR rescue mask to have on hand.
