My Students
Every child is unique and individually special! Their minds are incredible and their abilities are unlimited.
My students are inquisitive and curious.
They are very energetic and active learners. They have been born during this current time of fast-track technology. I have the pleasure of working with a lively group of students. They have a strong desire for knowledge. They are dreamers, thinkers, and future leaders. My students are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. It is my responsibility to ensure that my students have the same opportunities as any other student in our country. I believe my project will assist in that effort.
Technology plays a crucial role in our society and creative arts/music is often removed from curriculums. I want to equip my students with the necessary skills to become successful students. I teach in a PreK Classroom in a large public community district school, where 100% of my students receive free lunch and qualify for the program by being low income eligible. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn.

Teachers and students deserve to work/learn in a healthy, safe and clean environment.
My students and I have created a classroom space that is welcoming, engaging, challenging, and a place where ideas are analyzed on a daily basis.
My students will benefit from the disinfectant wipes, disinfectant, paper towels, etc., by allowing them to clean/sanitize our equipment such as our iPads, Hatch computers, the keyboards, the shared headsets etc.., preventing the spread of germs. I have many students with allergies and sinus issues. My students will directly benefit from this Kleenex to assist those runny noses. Sadly, my school's budget does not consistently provide products to maintain the classrooms cleanliness.
My classroom has a bathroom that needs to be cleaned throughout the day and the custodians only clean the bathroom once at the end of the day. Therefore, I the teacher, routinely use the Clorox cleanser, paper towels, toilet bowl cleanser et., to sanitize/ clean the bathroom to protect my students from spread of germs and diseases.
My students are required to have a daily nap time. The district provides the sheets and blankets. The district requires me to wash/maintain the the sheets and blankets. However, the district does not provide the detergent. The Gain and Bounce will assist with that burden.
