My Project
A clean classroom is a safe and healthy classroom. Young students are still learning about personal hygiene and how germs spread, so keeping our space clean is a daily priority. With a class full of energetic first graders, we’re constantly wiping down desks, sweeping up snack crumbs, and disinfecting high-touch areas to help prevent the spread of illness.
This project will provide essential cleaning supplies like wipes, soap, hand sanitizer, a duster, and a small handheld vacuum to keep our learning environment fresh and tidy.
I’m also including a read-aloud book about germs to help teach my students why cleaning and hand-washing are so important.
By giving students a cleaner space to learn, we’re also helping them feel safe, valued, and ready to focus on learning, not on sniffles and sneezes. These simple items will make a big difference in our classroom community all year long.
