Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the S.T.E.M. teacher, I teach a wide range of elementary students from pre-K through 5th grade. To help strengthen my students understanding of lessons being taught, I often look for colorful, age-appropriate texts to support my students' curiosity and love of the various topics we explore and learn about.

For this project, I have requested Scholastic's Science and SuperSTEM Magazines, and TIME For Kids magazines for elementary students to help encourage small group activities, foster deeper peer discussions, and engage students in real world, science and social studies themed reading.
