This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Working in a low-income school district, my students are faced with several challenges both inside and out of the classroom. Due to the many challenges they face, I strive to keep a high energy and fun learning classroom, allowing them to experience new things.
As their music teacher, I am constantly providing them with upbeat, fun and exciting opportunities they may not necessarily experience otherwise.
They love to sing, dance and play instruments, but we are very limited with our resources. I would love to be able to improve their music education and performance experience by giving them basic tools to help them succeed.

My Project
The sad reality is that so many of my students are sitting in their classroom at a desk and on the computer ALL DAY LONG. Once a day for 45 minutes they get to particiate in "special" - either Art, Music, Gym or Library. During this time, I want to provide the best experience as possible
The items in this project will ensure that my students can have fun while being in a safe, clean and healthy environment.
I am extremely diligent with making sure materials are sanitized after each use and properly disinfected. The items requested in this project will help me to achieve that goal!
