My Students
Imagine trying to help your students attain grade level status without a set curriculum. Now imagine that the students you are working with also have learning disabilities. This is the challenge before me.
Our school may be located in a small town but we serve a large and diverse population.
I work with students with varying disabilities who are performing at varying levels of proficiency. I enjoy the students yet struggle with finding appropriate activities in order to address their many deficits.
My Project
I am attempting to use a new math program this year to help me differentiate my math lessons. While I am working with a small group of students, the others will complete a practice activity. They will then scan it in and receive immediate feedback on their success as well as another practice, if necessary. I will be able to view their progress reports and remediate their weak areas during our small group sessions.
In the current state that schools all over the country are in financially, it's no surprise that ink for printers is becoming more and more scarce. I need ink for my printer so that I can print the many independent practice activities and writing projects that my students complete.
Your help in purchasing ink for my classroom will go a long way in helping me to meet their math needs.
This ink will also be used for printing the many writing projects we complete each semester as well as the parent progress reports that must be sent home every 4.5 weeks. Thanks for considering my proposal.
