This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students range from eleven to twelve years old and enjoy learning new things as they try to grasp mathematics in a Title One school. Over eighty percent of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes, and most have not been given a positive view of math. Because of this, I try my best to help them enjoy math class by keeping it interactive and hands-on.
Supplies like pencils and dry-erase markers are a must-have to keep my classroom functioning.
Unfortunately, as the year progresses, are supplies start to dwindle. This refresh will keep us stocked through the end of the school year and working strong.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
