Keep Us Warm This Winter-Long Sleeves!

My Students

"I grew two levels!" a student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in east Nashville where 100% of students receive free lunch. All students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!

My students are full of love!

I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Every day, we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day, they grow socially and academically to be their best selves.

My Project

Students at our school wear a uniform. Under their uniform they can wear any color long sleeved shirt. As a school, we try to provide a lot of shirts in the guidance counselor's office so that if a student is cold they can put on a long sleeved shirt. We are currently out of these shirts and would love to have this project funded in order to keep kids warm in classrooms. We want all students to be comfortable and warm at school so that they can learn and grow every day! We recycle these shirts (wash them after students return them) so hundreds of students can benefit from these 65 shirts.
