Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from varied backgrounds. Some of my students have the opportunity to see the world around them and visit many new and exciting places, and some of my students have not traveled outside of our town. No matter what their background, all of my students love learning, love school, and love each other.

My classroom is filled with future doctors, teachers, lawyers, and world changers.

My students are amazing, and I want to do anything I can to introduce them to more and more.

My Project

All of our school staff and families want students to be able to return back to school as safely as possible. My class has tables for students to sit in groups and I would like to have plastic dividers in each table. In class, the plastic desk dividers will help separate student work areas and will help prevent the spread of germs and exchange of school supplies amongst students at each table.

Protective equipment plays a huge role in the safety for students.

The product I have selected will help my students and my school by gaining resources that will ultimately aide in decreasing the risk of contracting COVID-19. Students are also more likely to be cautious of distance when there are protective measures in place, separating their items from others.

Students are energetic and excited to learn! A focus on safety is essential in order to keep schools open and students learning.
