Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an amazing bunch of students. They will grow so much this school year. We will learn our letters and sounds, how to add and subtract and so much more. This class is an ICT class which includes special education students and general education students. Our class has blended together so well and they have formed wonderful friendships! Our students have the best attitude about learning and are always eager to do so! They love school! Most of these students have attended pre-k virtually during a pandemic and are now attending in person blended learning.

My Project

Every night our classroom is sprayed with disinfectant that makes our papers curl if left out. These drawers would help us stay organized and our important work nice and flat. These drawers would allow us to put them out each day with student work and away each night for safe keeping.

The students are expected to carry supplies back and forth each day and for our little 4/5 year olds that means heavy backpacks.

Having crayons and pencils for in school for each of us would help to lighten the load just a bit. Plus who doesn't love a new box of crayons?
