My Students
I teach in a middle school that is is one of a few remaining "community schools" located in a rural setting.
Right now we are shut down due to the coronavirus.
I am trying to teach through distance learning. I have approximately 60 students and truthfully, most of them are trying very hard to be successful during this time. Their efforts is what I really love about them.
We get support from parents, businesses, and community leaders. This support enhances our ability to change lives and support academic success. Collaboration between the elementary, middle, and high schools in our district enables our schools to work together to promote greater academic growth, increased participation in extracurricular activities, and a better understanding of civic responsibilities.
My Project
With the onset of COVID-19, we need to really keep a clean environment to keep our students and staff safe. As we gear up to return to face-to-face learning, I want to make sure we have the needed items to clean all areas that we will be sharing.
These microfiber towels and plastic gloves will be used when cleaning work spaces shared by all students.
Students will change classes 6 times a days, so there are a lot of shared work spaces. Tables and chairs will need to be cleaned after each student.
