My Students
My students have the option this year between blended learning, in which they're in school 1/3 of the time, and distance learning, in which they are always home and interacting with their teachers and classmates online only. For our blended students, coming into the building can feel extremely stressful. Not only is the schedule confusing, but they also have to stay 6 feet away from each other and wear masks all day. In the morning, students have to stand outside while they have their temperature taken and take a questionnaire. This is okay on sunny days, but on rainy days, our kids are getting all wet!
My Project
New health and safety protocols mean that our blended learning students need to have their temperatures checked and answer questionnaires before they can enter the school building. This is fine on a sunny day, but during our rainy New York City fall and winter months, our kids are getting cold and wet!
Please help us purchase this canopy tent to protect our students from the weather while they check in at the health and safety table!
