My Students
My high school students are hard-working and strive every day to be better people. My students come from a low income area, where many of them are working after school daily to help provide for their families.
Having students with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds is what makes my school so amazing!
There are several Hispanic students who are working hard to learn the language as well as students from Europe and Africa. I strive every day to work as hard as my students do and hope to provide them the best education possible.
My Project
While high school students love to do messy and fun experiments, it is sometimes hard to get them to do it if they are worried about getting their clothes dirty! Here our high school, we would love to continue to do these messy experiments, but have not been able to afford to buy the lab coats necessary to do so.
In addition to keep our students clean, these lab coats will increase our lab safety by allowing chemicals to spill onto lab coats rather than clothes that they will be wearing all day!
