This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten students are excited to go to school for the first time. For the most part, they live in poverty and receive free lunch. The students are very diverse learners who are eager to learn. My school is in an urban environment. We are a K-5 elementary school with over 800 students. Our school district has been experiencing financial difficulties for many years.

That being said, we have great students, dedicated teachers, and two administrators who work together to make our school a safe environment for everyone.

My Project

I want to keep the classroom as safe as I possibly can. I need Lysol wipes to wipe down desks, doorknobs, light switches, etc. Lysol, the mop, and surface disinfectant will all help to keep germs away and my students healthy.

Anything to keep the kids safe is all that matters.

I will use disinfectant wipes to wipe everything the kids touch. Disinfectant wipes and paper towels will be used continuously throughout the day.
