My Students

I am a Special Education teacher in a Third Grade Integrated Co-Teach Class where there are Special Education students learning alongside General Education students.

Our school consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students within a low socioeconomic community.

This past year has been a challenging one with students learning remotely. Children have suffered academically but moreover, socially and emotionally. They work hard and are eager to learn.

We will be all heading back to the school building in September and I need to start planning NOW to be ready to start off the with with a bang!

My Project

Teaching in a Integrated Co-Teach (ICT) classroom is difficult because of all the various needs of the students. Differentiation is key to ensure that every student learns.

Teachers Pay Teachers is a site that has numerous activities created by teachers that are crucial for differentiation and to keep student engaged.

Assigning engaging, fun, and diverse content is important for students to learn at their level and at their pace!

Teachers Pay Teachers resources would be an amazing supplement for my Special Ed students. I would be able to assign them hands-on lessons in math, reading and activities that go along with our curriculum.

My students have lost out on a year of education and it will be a struggle to catch them up.

Please give me the opportunity to do so.
