This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Cellphones are a challenge in class and the library! Students sneak them or just cannot let go of them. Sometimes it feels like the zombie apocalypse has already arrived!
Cellphone lockers will help keep the distractions faraway to encourage student learning and interactions.
Teachers and students will be able to safely keep cellphones locked and away so learning and positive collaboration can occur. Students will feel safe knowing their phones are put in a secure and locked place and be able to focus on learning. Cellphone lockers will help with classroom management to encourage a rigorous education.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
