This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Encouraging my TK students to be active and healthy while learning is very important to me as their teacher.
I am a big believer when students are active outside, they return back to the classroom full of energy and ready for better learning opportunities.
This is why I am requesting an extra-large stretchy band. This stretchy band will help me provide beneficial opportunities for developing social, physical, and cognitive skills through interactive play with classmates. The stretchy band will improve my students' cooperation with others; boost their communication skills and teach them problem-solving strategies as well as strengthen their gross motor skills, coordination, and spatial awareness.
I am also requesting soccer balls to practice how to kick and pass the soccer ball to friends. It is never too early to teach students how to play soccer and how to have good sportsmanship. Thank you in advance for your donation and helping my students have fun while learning actively at school!
