This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the teacher of a very curious group of students. They attend a school that is classified as a Title I facility. All of them qualify for the free lunch program. The community they live in is stricken with a high level of poverty.

Despite these circumstances, they are so eager to please and be productive leaders.

They work so hard and come in each morning with warm greetings and huge smiles, which makes me look forward to each day.

My Project

I have been teaching STEM for several years now. I love my class and I am always trying to grow as an educator. I attend professional development to get more ways to bring STEM alive in our classroom.

I want my students to be excited about learning STEM.

I think with these materials, we can do more hands-on activities where they can let their creativity shine. I can't wait to see what they build with these materials.

These materials would be greatly appreciated and I know my students will not let you down by designing amazing projects.
