This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be teaching a new grade in a new classroom this year! I would like to create an inviting classroom that is functional and more organized than last year. Using spine label dots will be a great tool to level my library books and larger carpet spot dots will help my students remember their line order. Lastly, my students' desks do not have enough room to house all of the materials that are needed throughout the day. The solution is...... chair pockets!
Chair pockets slip over chairs and will provide more space to slide other materials such as books and bookmarks, as well as participation tools like the thumbs up/thumbs down paddles inside.
The pockets will brighten up the room, help make my students' desks more organized, and eliminate any clutter...hopefully.
