This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is getting ready to start. I want to have things in my classroom that they can use to calm them down, use to reward their efforts and help them feel successful.

Kids come to our classroom with different needs and the items I am asking for will help them to cope and learn in my classroom.

They need to be able to calm down in social and stressful situations. They also need to be able to keep their little hands busy while I am teaching at times.

These items will help them learn, adapt to what they are doing around them, and stay calm in situations where they are unable to stay calm on their own.
