My Project
This year has been challenging and we are working out some kinks in our daily schedule as well as with the new curriculum so now that we are running relatively smooth I am looking to re-up on some everyday supplies for both the students and for me.
Any teacher knows you always ask for pencils because some how they are always gone, broke or taken home at the end of the week.
Another item that some how, some way always seems to be running low are pencil eraser tops and so I always like to have backups.
Construction paper, card stock and sheet protectors are always good for crafts, activities, and everyday cards or to create longer lasting centers for the kids to use and reuse, especially when you slip them into a slip-cover and give the student a white board marker.
Lastly, I have a treasure box and my students have made it abundantly clear that we are dangerously low on "fun options" for them to choose. They earn a visit to the treasure box when they give me a "mind blown" response or progress up to the next level on their benchmark tests or whenever I see an act of kindness or respect.
