My Project

I am requesting snacks and the materials to set up a hot drink bar in my classroom. Creating a warm and welcoming environment is of the utmost importance for me

As my 9th graders transition into high school I want to make sure my classroom is seen as a space for them to nourish their minds and bodies.

Food insecurity is very common in Lakewood and I want to ensure that my students are well fed so that they can perform their best with their school work. I picture my students sipping a hot cup of tea with a granola bar as they hunker down to complete their work.
