This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hard working children that love to showcase their talents. They revel in opportunities to show others what they know and what they have been working on! They love new things and get very excited about new challenges.
Our projects will focus on giving our students those challenges that will only enhance their education in all areas and make them better human beings.
They have the yearning and desire to become a better version of themselves in all areas and my music room will encourage this desire and fuel their enthusiasm!
My Project
We have a goal of getting 100% of our Orff instruments onto stands! Allowing these big instruments to be on wheels will allow them to be moved safely and easily to performances. Also being able to stand at the instruments instead of sit; this will allow students to have better posture for playing and at our performances, our audience will actually be able to see our performers. Right now at our performances, our instruments are on the floor so they can only be seen by the first few rows and we know that the audience wants to see everyone that is making beautiful music! These stands will allow all of our musicians to be recognized for their beautiful music making!
