My Project
Welcome to our bright and busy first grade classroom! Every day, my students walk in full of energy, curiosity, and a desire to learn. As young learners, they are working hard to develop routines, take responsibility for their materials, and grow into independent scholars. But right now, we’re missing a key tool to help them succeed—chair pockets!
In a first grade room, space is always tight and desks fill up fast.
Without proper storage, folders, books, and supplies often end up on the floor or lost in the shuffle. This can be frustrating for my students and takes away valuable learning time. With chair pockets, each child will have an easy-to-reach space to keep their materials neat, organized, and accessible.
Chair pockets will help my students stay organized and take ownership of their supplies, maximize our small classroom space, and help them transition between activities more efficiently.
These chair pockets will be used every single day and will help support the systems and routines that make our classroom run smoothly. Your generosity will directly support my students’ success and independence in meaningful ways. Thank you for helping us keep it together—literally!
