My Students
Wrestling in the most diverse high school in the nation. Most of the kids we service come from colorful backgrounds and a good majority are low income. Our wrestlers come to us for many reasons, some come to us for supports they lack at home, some come to better themselves physically and emotionally, and some come to us to be great wrestlers. Over the years we have trained over 20 state champions and 2 national champions and with your help we will be able to reach even more.
My Project
By donating to this project you will help us replace our mat mops which have been broken over the years so that we can more efficiently get our mats clean before practice. It is very important to keep our wrestling surface clean so our athletes can stay in good health.
The tape will help keep the sections of our mat together.
As athletes wrestle the mat can separate revealing the hard floor which could easily lead to serious injuries. By using the tape that you are helping us purchase this will keep the mats together preventing this cause of injury.
Nose plugs will be used for stopping any bloody noses. Bloody noses are a common place as this is a very physical sport and noses get bumped.
