My Project
Each student is unique, which means each students needs a different resource to learn. Many of my students enjoy working in different spaces, rather than sitting at their desk all day. This allows students to change up their seats by advocating for themselves when they feel they will learn better in another space. As school days are long for young children, having flexible seating provides students to break up their day and continue to productively engage in different material. Students enjoy working in our calming corner, library, and in our carpet area. Having these floor seats will allow for students to comfortably sit in another space where they feel their learning will be strongest.
