This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year I would love to improve the calm corner in my classroom. I want a space where my students can go to calm down and take a brain break.

The lounge chair would provide a comfortable spot for any student that needs time to be alone and find his/her inner peace.

Along with the chair, I am asking for a weighted lap pillow and sand timers. I am hoping the calm corner will create a safe and relaxed space where students can relieve their stress or frustration.

Please help me give my students their little place of Zen.
