Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students face extreme adversities on a regular basis and these supplies will allow them to decrease stress and have tools to de-escalate when they are feeling overwhelmed.
The use of calming tools, art supplies, books, and snacks will help our students to feel equipped when facing everyday or more extreme struggles.
By funding this project, our students will have a sense of positivity brought to their day. They face many struggles outside of school and providing these tools will help them be mentally and emotionally ready to be the best student they can be.
