Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students can feel overwhelmed with everyday distractions at school. It could be the classroom or the neighborhood environment that can lead to sensory overload.
By giving students the classroom tools to limit that stress, we can help students stay focused and feel successful everyday!
It is also important to acknowledge students for their hard work and perseverance by classroom incentives. By donating incentives, students earn trips to the prize box for their hard work and attendance. Our students may not have access to little toys or fidgets that some kids take for granted. Seeing the smiles on my students faces when they earn an incentive is priceless! Thank you for your support.
